TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
Teachers’ day was commemorated on 05.09.2022 at P.R. College of Nursing, which was well organized by Management. The Teachers’ were honoured and appreciated for their contributions. The cultural programs were organized by the students to mark the day.
GRADUATION CEREMONY
The Graduation ceremony was held on 15.10.2022 for the batch of 2018-2022, the 14th batch of Graduates of P.R. College of Nursing. The Honourable Managing Director Mr. Rudresh Kumar, Principal Mrs. Kavitha. K and teachers have conveyed their wishes and congratulations on achieving their goal and fulfilling their dreams.
LAMP LIGHTINGE CEREMONY
The Lamp Lighting and Oath-taking ceremony is a tribute to "Florence Nightingale – The Lady with The Lamp". The Lamp Lighting and Oath taking ceremony of the 17th Batch of B.Sc (Nursing) held on 20.12.2022 at P.R College of Nursing Auditorium.
The Chief Guest of the Occasion was Mrs. Shobha Rani. Kenneth Joseph, Nursing Superintendent, Motherhood Hospital, Hebbal. The Honourable Managing Director Mr. Rudresh Kumar and Principal Mrs. Kavitha.K enlighted the students on the significance of Lamp Lighting ceremony.
MAKAR SANKRANTI
The Harvest Festival of India is celebrated with great exuberance by the Staff and Students of P R college of Nursing on 15.01.2023. The Harvest Festival marks the beginning of new season and thanking the Mother Nature for the fresh harvest.
ONAM FESTIVAL
Onam Festival is celebrated to welcome king Mahabali. Staff and Students celebrated onam festival with great enthusiam by conducting activities like Pookulam, Onam Dance, Puli Kali and Onam sathya at P.R. College of Nursing.
FOUNDER’S DAY
Founder’s Day is a very important day in the college calendar. This day is celebrated every year on 8th January by staff, students and family members with great enthusiasm to express our gratitude, love and respect to our founder Sri P. Rudresh Kumar, who have contributed towards the leadership and vision of the college.
ETHNIC DAY
Ethnic day is celebrated every year at our college by staff and students to celebrate different cultures, their heritage, music and art. Students wear ethnic and traditional dresses and perform cultural which represents their rich traditions.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
The Festival of Joy, happiness, love and positivity is celebrated every year in the month of December and embrace the beginning of the New Year by sharing Joy and Wishes.
TALENT SHOW
We organise and conduct Talent Show every year for Freshers. The students perform the art of singing, dancing, acting, playing an Instrument and other activities to showcase their skills.
FAREWELL DAY
The junior students honour and celebrate the achievements of their seniors by hosting a Farewell party, expressing their wishes, happiness and sharing their memories for their outgoing seniors.
ANNUAL DAY
Annual day is the integral part of our college activities. Annual day is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm and excitement when students present wonderful performances, receive praises and honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements.
The sports, cultural events and competitions are conducted before the Annual day event to award the overall championship trophy’ to the winning team and its captain and student members.
AYUDHA POOJA
The Ayudha pooja is celebrated every year on the occasion of Dushara Festival. This day is celebrated as worship of Goddess Saraswathi.
NURSES DAY
International Nurses Day is observed around the world every May 21, the Birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale and also to mark the contributions that nurses make to society. We the staff andsstudents of P.R. College of Nursing have celebrated the Nurses Day by conducting a seminar on Nurses Day theme and by taking a nurses’ pledge to uphold the ethical and moral values of teachers at work in the field of teaching profession.
ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
We plan, organise and conduct various academic activities which includes commemoration of National and International days related to Health programs such as World health day, Nutrition Demo Programme, World Autism Day, World Breast Feeding Week, World Cancer Day, World Tubeculosis Day etc.
